We act, feel and think in accord with what truly matters to us. When that happens we’re energized. Growth, creativity and wellness abound. We’re aligned with our own unique creative energy and life force, and deeply connected to our soul.
Being authentic is to be genuine and not a carbon copy of someone else, their vision or their dream. It’s derived from the Greek word authentes’: to act on one’s own authority.”
So whose life are you living? Are you committed to your own truth and values and don’t allow someone else to choose your fate, your career, or your voice? Are your choices conscious and subjected to your own inner truth?
Often we get disconnected from what’s really important to us. We are swayed by others views and opinions, by social and familial expectations and judgments.
How to live more authentically?
Live congruently with who you really are –with your true nature.
Accept who you are regardless of how others view you.
Uncover your special talents and gifts and don’t be afraid to share them with the world.
Take care of you, those you care for and also make a contribution –large or small, to the world.
Become the master of your life and the master of your fate by remembering that you are the creator of it and of you.
Embrace all of you even those uncomfortable imperfect places.
Be comfortable living in the present moment.
Invest in you: You are worthy of all the time, energy, love and compassion that you can give to you.
Remind yourself that you are creating a new you every moment. Be aware of every brushstroke, every word and thought and create the you that you’re proud of and happiest with.
