Time for application for a new grant to keep my position funded and keep me out teaching and working in the community. We are currently busy writing a script to air on Armstrong for the Pawsitively Pink Party for Breast Cancer Awareness at the Bark Park on September 11th from 10-4. It is also time to do the report to Komen of my activities and goals and objectives being met and time to look to new ones for future consideration. I am constantly looking for new opportunities and I reach out to you that are following this blog for ideas and suggestions. I still find new patients that have tremendous fears of what treatment is and how to get through it and I can honestly say it has improved even in the past 5 years since I was diagnosed. Each day seems to bring more promise and hope and better outcomes. As I often say, this is not a group you want to be in but a sisterhood that members are formed by their circumstances and one that crosses all lines including gender, finances, age, and so much more. Our thoughts and fears and concerns are more alike than different and I am here to offer my help as you travel this path. Feel free to contact me and let me help you in your walk and I look to meet your needs and others through education, training and support. Sincerely,
S
