Well, I would like to fill your head with all kinds of exciting new things but I honestly shut down and enjoyed a trip to Florida. The sunshine was therapeutic, the family, the laughs, and the fun. We often talk about patient needs but you also have to consider the caregiver. Taking care of yourself, makes you a better caregiver and it was time for me to take care of myself. First day back today and I am moved into a new office. Now my computer didn't work this morning and I have no phone and I can't find a thing but I didn't want to go another day without saying it was time for me to reconnect to you all. This site does offer a neat input as it actually gives a number of how many people have visited this site. No, there are no names or anything else but just a total number. Some days it can be as low as the 20's and other days I have hit well over 400. I have been asked by others if they could post on this blog and I have thanked them profusely but would rather keep sole ownership to me and then I know what I have said and done. Today was re-establishing my filing system and putting away supplies and books, and prayer shawls and wigs, and so much more. After not having an office for four months, it is like a rebirth and I am back. I hope that once I get a little more settled, I can get back to providing informative, and educational material as well as hopefully supplying some insights and a few laughs along the way. Just so you don't hate me totally for abandoning you for a brief period, I did break a toe, slammed a window shut on a finger and got attacked by fire ants on my poor unsuspecting feet. All in all, it was still a great time. I got to fuss over my daughter and play house in the house we rent in Florida and saw some dear friends each day and played with one year old twins which takes me back to the days my twins were that little and in Florida. (They are now 39!)
Stay tuned and I will be back on my mark soon and in the mean time, make it a great day! S
