The in house competition of wearing pink and the more pink you have on the more points you get. Today should be interesting. I have two gals that have been in the hunt with as many as 20 plus items on in a a day. There will be a prize of course and then next week a house prize and then on the 28th we are having a pink luncheon and hopefully all the staff will get on board and bring something pink that we can enjoy at our weekly interdisciplinary meeting. Today I head to Clarion University to a "Reading for the Cure' an I will read and be part of the fun. Monday is Oil City and Tuesday is Slippery Rock and then Wednesday is a marathon day starting at 7 am and finishing at 9. The weekend of the 23rd is the big Breast Breakfast Seminar at St. John Missionary Baptist Church and you can sign up for the free breakfast and program by calling the church and then on the 24 is a Komen run/Walk from the Church and monies going to Pittsburgh Affiliate, Susan G. Komen and that is also starting and ending at the church and registration through the church as well and then the 25th I will be in Titusville Pitt Campus and 26 in Saegertown doing a program for the Quilt Guild and so it goes. I am reaching out and am more than willing to spread the PINK WORD, just let me know where and when and a little chocolate along the way wouldn't hurt. Making it a great day! I just sang a song to the two kids manning the windows at Mc Donald's as I got my morning ice tea. What a look, but I left them smiling and probably calling 911 to get the looney lady...Have a great day! S
