What a whirlwind! My daughter got a job on the 14th and flew to it on the 16 and is in FL now. I have been packing and packing and packing. Looks like a road trip coming up soon. Also packed and moved my office and fast approaching is PAWSITIVELY PINK PARTY on September 11, 2010 from 10-4 at the Conneaut Lake Bark Park, Inc for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. There will be activities for dogs, kids, men and women and information and education and Chow Chow Waggin Dining. I often preach about finding quiet time or private time other than when you are in bed at night and too tired to focus on your needs. Most of us that have had breast cancer reprioritize what we want and need but this time it seems daily life is getting in the way. Unfortunately it may take a serious diagnosis to have you re-evaluate and restructure but then again life hits in and those priorities may go out the window. I still believe it is important to take that time for yourself and breathe. Journaling helped me during treatment but now finding the time is difficult. I love what I am doing and find that days, evenings and weekends all blend together as I run to the next presentation or work on another project and I promise once Breast Cancer Awareness- October, is over, I will breathe. I need to downshift, anyone with me? Make it a great day! S
