Well the fundraiser went extremely well and I saw friends, family and acquaintances from all over. Good turnout, good food, and good outcome. We are prepping for the holidays at the institute and I am working towards a grant to go to a national conference to increase my education and skills to help patients. I am tired, but a good tired. Thanks to all that helped make the fundraiser such a great success.

What a week... I spoke to Active Aging, Edinboro University students, Meadville High School health classes, the CHIC breakfast, Linesville American Legion, Maplewood Health 7th grade classes and the Look Good, Feel Better program. Next week is busy but not crazy... the holidays slow things down a bit. Family will be in so I am taking a day off to get ready for Thanksgiving. I was excited to see that a private club actually was willing to have me present a program and was interested in these issues. The new guidelines have the medical community up in arms and I will continue to promote monthly self breast exams from age 20 through life, yearly physical exams and mammography EVERY YEAR from age 40......
We take better care of our cars than our bodies, keep that in mind and start taking care of you. As always, you know where and how to find me....
