I run into people each day on the street or calling or here that have questions and concerns and issues and I am glad to be able to help and be recognized as someone they can go to. Often times they mention seeing me on TV or the paper and I am happy that we are getting the education out there. The good news is that at least I have not made to police blotter and I am still out there trying to keep it current and keeping the face of breast cancer out there so people don't forget the we can make a difference through education and early intervention. It has been a privilege and a challenge to try and meet the needs of the community and I continue to work towards new and exciting ways to get people interested and involved. I recently said at a program that I had one, maybe two items of pink in my closet and now I have a whole wardrobe. I guess I will do whatever it takes to hopefully make a difference. It is very humbling and I am aware that there are many that have gone more difficulties and experiences and I try to get their information out as well. As one person said to me, you are a warrior and aren't we all? I see I made the paper yet again today and hope that you don't push it off just because of familiarity but will look at it to see what is happening and what is new. Breast Cancer news and education is changing each and every day and I will continue to bring that to you as long as I am in this position and an help.
