Ok, so what is all the hubbub about cell phones? We first were told that cell phones do not cause cancer and now we see people with them attached to their ear and people constantly talking on them. What is the real info and who is providing it? It made national news and now everyone is in a stir. I am truly not on either side of the fence as yet but, I am cautious. There will have to be more research and studies done before we get definitive answers but I have always stayed on a safe side when using my phone ( although my kids are not happy with what I do). Their issue is that I put the phone on speaker which I do mostly for my convenience as I am always multitasking and it allows me a free hand but it also allows my husband to listen when the kids call and provide input. I know find that it is much better to be on speaker or at least have a distance from your cell device and your ear itself. I can't see anyone giving up their cell phone in the near future but my concerns remains with the younger kids that have grown up with cell phones to their ears and what is the long term effect. Many households don't even have land lines anymore so where does that leave me. I don't have the answers but I am aware of what is happening out there and it is suffice to say, lets all of us keep our ears open and see what the newest information will mean to us all for our futures. Make it a great day! S
