I often receive articles or information on new ideas, treatments, cures and more and I just recently learned of a new site called Quackwatch. Quackwatch is a skeptical guide to looking at these statements and practices. This is very interesting because how do you know if the information you are looking for or find or have passed on to you is reliable. First and foremost if they promote it as 100% cure, I have my doubts. Another interesting part of it is, does the organization just require dues or is these scientific expertise required? Does it go against proven public health measures and is it a REAL organization and is it accredited through a recognized agency? These are just a few of the things that come to mind when I start to look at material Just because it walks like a duck and talks like a duck and may even smell like a duck, it does not make it duck worthy. As always, ask the questions and review the material and investigate. WE all want the miracle cure be it for weight loss or cancer treatment or anything else that impinges our lives and lifestyle. Seek answers but alwasy from reliable sources. Great day today! s
