Today we have our STAYING CONNECTED group at lunch and that is for anyone that is in treatment or completed treatment and it is a brown bag lunch and we meet in the library from 12-1. Anyone that is going through or has been through the process of treatment knows that you make great bonds with those that are doing the same and this is one way to stay in touch.
Tonight will be THROUGH YOUR EYES and that is for the caregivers support group. If you are helping someone that is going through treatment and you just need to know you are not alone and you are willing to share some of your time, we will meet at 7 tonight at the institute and you are more than welcome to come to this group that meets each month on the third Wednesday of the month from 7-8:30 in the library as well.
Feel free to call me with any questions you might have. As always the Looking Ahead -Breast Support Group meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at St Brigid's and that is open to all breast cancer patients whether you have just been diagnosed or ten years out of treatment. You will meet a fun and caring group that will welcome you with open arms.
Today my son from California is getting home so this is a great day! I am like an old hen that just clucks when her chicks are home so if you see me with a silly smile, I have a chick home and am enjoying every moment and as for me - I am having a GREAT DAY !
