The rest of the weekend was spent replacing a refrigerator, a modem and a air conditioning and heating board due to a brown out that fried it all and of course our generator did not kick on until the power went completely out.
Monday was a day of moving as we moved my husband's parents into a retirement community from their home. As I looked at all the stress the the weekend supplied, I was glad that I had kept a sense of humor and that I have a husband that is always on an even path despite the rocks that get thrown in the way. He is my stress reliever! I won't say that was all the stress for the weekend but all that I can divulge. A nice kayak ride down the Allegheny did help tremendously and calls from the kids and skpye with my granddaughter helped. I hope your 4th was a family filled day of fun and laughter and that we all remember the country we live in and the freedoms we have. It may not be like we all would want it to be or could be but it is the best and we are free to live and enjoy those freedoms so afforded to us by all those that came before us. Thank you to the military and leaders that have stepped up to the plate and for our ministers and caregivers and medical providers and for those that taught us along the way and those that have made the road easier for us and do those things that we can't or don't have time for or are even aware of how it gets done but we have the services and use of. The list can go on and on and today and every day I think how lucky we are to be here and see the sun rise and set and be able to enjoy what we have including family and friends and so much more. Take a moment and say thanks and make it a great day!.S
